about

"This was my first single recorded last century with my band Proper Id. The tale of The Id is a long and strange one for another day, the day I finally release an album culled from our live gigs. This version is from a decades old cassette tape found in a shoebox, in a closet. Hiss galore and sonic bumps but the energy of a young alt. pop-punk band comes through. Damn, I wish I could record with these guys again!" - Lach

lyrics

Sound The Alarm

Roach-clip rusted in the rain
It don't grip the same
Only got myself to blame
Resin coats my brain

I lost sight
Someone shut my eyes
Shut my mouth
Whispered lies

Sound the alarm my brain’s on fire
Sound the alarm I'm getting higher

Baby don’t you care about me?
Or am I just a scene in your scenery?
Another rose in your rosary
Another arm in your armoury

Help me
Watch out for my pop!

Clay pipe roasting in the sun
Nothing left for anyone
Finished it before I was done
I can't find no fun

I can't see someone shut my eyes
Shut my mouth and then whispered lies
Sound the alarm my brain’s on fire
Sound the alarm I'm getting higher
I got my red light on
I got my siren on
