about

I found treasure. A lost track from the 'Lach Today' sessions. Recorded live, no overdubs, one take. I guess it was considered to 'noisy' to include on the album and we never got back to it but I love it's raw energy and Billy and Roy really tore it up! Antifolk-Punk classic!

lyrics

Little Bummer Boy

There's a new baby
Down on Essex Street
Crying to the cars it sees
Ba-rum-pum-pum-pum
Ba-rum-pum-pum-pum
Pum-pum-pum-pum

Down in the alley
Tie it up tightly
Push it in gently
And Pump-pum-pum-pump
Ba-rum-pum-pum-pump
Pump-pum-pum-pump

The animals talk this night
They're in the streets tonight
Where are your kids tonight?
Ba-rum-pa-pa-pa
Ba-rum-ma-ma-ma
ma-ma-ma-ma
Ma?

Come she told me
Deep inside of me
I played my drum for her
Ba-rum-pum-pum-pump
Pump-pum-pum-pump
Pump-pum-pum-pump
La-la-la-la
