Jersey Earthquake

by Lach

fan club exclusive
1.
Jersey earthquake Panic at the shopping mall Escalators hit the brake Shaking in the sunglass stall Jersey earthquake There’s a crack down I-95 Jersey Earthquake At least the diner survived And that’s us rocking And that’s us rolling From Boston to ol’ Philly Town That’s us balling That’s us calling For a new world risen from the underground Jersey earthquake And no-one blinked an eye Except for a wedding cake That’ll never meet the bride Jersey earthquake Feels so high school Like it’s time for us to break The plastic, stupid rules

about

Lach Says: I was working on the next fanclub-exclusive single, when I heard about an earthquake in New Jersey. Next thing I knew, I had stopped working on the new single and wrote and recorded a demo of an even newer song, “Jersey Earthquake”. I may end up adding more instrumentation but the idea of releasing the tune a few hours after the event is too intriguing to stop!"
