"Here it is. The first song recorded at Home Studios. My Edinburgh hideaway. Maybe I should call it Hideaway studios. Brief google search says both names are taken. Ah well, the song's recorded but the search for a studio name lingers on. I'm now entertaining suggestions, strangers and lost causes.
This song was fun to write and record. All sounds were created from scratch from things around the studio and it seems to be setting the style of what may turn out to be my next full album release. It's shaping up already from this tune to be my first actual Antifolk album as my first five albums were basically pop-rock affairs. Which, when you come to think of it, was a very Anti thing to do!

I have a kid who was a baby when the pandemic started and a toddler now. When he’s older and asks what the pandemic is like I’m gonna put this album on and pour myself a drink- this covers it all. Feels surreal to imagine ever having the privilege of going to see a Jeffrey Lewis show again but it’s top of my list when this crap is over. savanns
