Sometimes Life Is So Sad I Can't Breathe and yet water still flows over myriad jewelled rocks and the fishermen sing while hauling fish from the docks and that tree you pass by everyday is a universe awakening in its own special way and that breath you can't breathe is a knock on the door and being weak at the knees is the tide on the shore and the crone walking by with the shopping cart is a second away from refilling your heart all life's miseries are the bed that we've made when we deny that light is what makes shade and it may sound trite, it may seem played but it rains on flowers when it rains on parades and the pain of loss can make it so easy to give and anger at injustice can move us to live and the pain of death is the pain of birth connecting everything and everybody on earth Sometimes life is so sad I breathe
