Two names are better than one When you live life like you're shooting a gun When all your saviors have gone fishing And you are alone and wishing In the kitchen Bad head's better than none When you are the ghost of god's son When it should be dark but it's dawn You just want to feel the weight of someone's arm On your your own But you're alone In the kitchen In the kitchen it's all red and white Like the end of a long bullfight You've killed the dragon Can't kill the night And your nurse is a ghost In the pale moonlight And the only thing that's wrong seems right In the kitchen

about

One of my favorite songwriters and performers is Dave Woodcock outta Sheffield. On one of my UK tours, his band was gracious enough to join me in the studio for a day and knock out a few tunes. I left this one with Dave and he remixed it with himself duetting with me on the vocals. I love what he did with it! I wasn't sure when/how I'd release it but my home studio is being renovated this week and the clock is ticking on my fortnightly exclusive single release to my Fan Club at Bandcamp so, I guess it's time for this tune to be served! - Cheers, Lach
